Festive Fun at the Murley Hall!

What a great night that was. Thank you to all involved in the organisation and presentation of the evening. Many members and friends of members came out on a stormy December evening, not entirely sure of what was in the offing, because we had strayed from the tried and trusted formula of festive decoration demonstrations given by experts in flower arrangement.

What we got was a room full of excited, enthusiastic amateurs, keen to have a go at making a table display or a door wreath. Everyone, young & not so young, brought with them something to add to the party, whether that was flowers, greenery, accessories or just themselves and their enthusiasm!

Our President, Andrew Wallis, continued the family tradition by bringing along a cake baked by his wife, Michelle ( which was delicious btw ) and, continuing another tradition, mince pies & refreshments were served by the men!

All in all a great success, thanks to all who came and made some impressive arrangements to adorn their Christmas dinner tables, some photos to follow on the home page.
