Thank you

Thank you to all who helped make this years show happen. It was not certain that the show could go ahead even with the covid-19 restrictions lifted. Problems at the Community Hall at Fairfield forced the committee to look elsewhere for a suitable venue, thankfully Ludgvan Parish Church rose to the occasion and provided us with a wonderful setting for all the exhibits and the Murley Hall provided our caterer, Alison Grose, with the right equipment to produce some delicious meals for our judges and volunteers (the after eight cheesecake was sublime).

The morning rains turned to afternoon sunshine and the good people of Ludgvan and the surrounding community poured into the church and were rewarded with wonderful displays of flowers and vegetables, home produce and handicrafts and art & photography.

The committee would like to thank all those who provided support for the show. Patrons, who support with donations to keep us viable, Reverend Marns and all at the Parish Church who welcomed the show with open arms, Parish Councillor Simon Elliot who opened the show and stayed all afternoon to dish out the prizes, the Wallis family who transport all the show staging every year, and all the exhibitors without whom there would be nothing to look at, thank you all for supporting this great community event.

Now, we’d better start planning for next years show, watch this space!!
