Winter programme of illustrated talks

Approaching the halfway mark in our programme of illustrated talks and demonstrations for the 2018/2019 season, it is timely to wish everyone a happy and relaxing christmas holiday, spending time with family and friends and enjoying the fruits of your gardens & allotments.

Our talks so far have been excellent, October was with Juliette Turner, head gardener at Godolphin House & Gardens, Juliette gave us a reprise of the excellent refurbishment works that are ongoing at Godolphin. November was with Gary Long, head gardener at Trewithen Gardens, Grampound Road, Gary enthralled us with tales of the far east and his plant gathering trips to China. December was with The Reverend Paul Benney who demonstrated how, with the simplest of cut flowers and foliage, and a flair for creative design, we could produce our own festive floral decorations and dining table displays. Rev. Paul made it look so easy, I might have a go myself!!

Our January offering is an insight into the experiences of a Britain in Bloom judge with guest speaker, Mr Michael Foy. Please note that this talk will be in the afternoon, at 2.30pm, at the Murley Hall in Ludgvan Churchtown, opposite the White Hart public house.

See you there in 2019!!
